Commission Junction was one of the earliest money making programs that I joined when I first started this blog and so far it hasn't made me a penny. For more information on Commission Junction please see my original post. I believe there are a couple of reasons for this;
- Promoting the wrong products
- Not having a focused approach to promoting products
- Trying to promote too many products
Even though I've yet to make any money from Commission Junction yet, I still think there is potential there. I have been getting clicks they just haven't been converting to leads or sales, to solve this I need to;
- Choose a single product to promote instead of many
- Choose a product that match the topic of this blog.
- Create a plan for marketing this product
So the first thing I have to do is select the best product to promote for this site and that will be my aim for next week. Once I've chosen this product I will create a new plan for marketing it and I will let you know how it goes.
