A little while ago I signed up with Text Link Ads (aff.) , as I had heard good things about them and that they were a good potential source of income. So I signed up no problem, but when I submitted this blog to have ads placed on it, I received an email saying that my inventory had been declined and listed some reasons ie. the website does not have enough link popularity or the website does not have enough traffic. I decided to email them back to find out exactly what the issue was as I believed that although I wasn't getting masses of traffic I thought it would be enough for this. I received the following reply:
"Blogger is one technology that we do not have a working script for. Our developers are currently working on something but I am not sure when this will be available. That is why the site was declined."
This wasn't mentioned on the submission page and it was only when I had a look on their FAQ that I saw this:
"Unfortunately, unless you have a dedicated hosting account where you publish your Blogger blog, our script will not work."I think Text Link Ads (aff.) are missing out here as there are a lot of great Blogger hosted blogs out there that could sell a lot of links and make huge profits. It can't be that difficult to write a script that can work on Blogger.
You can of course still be an affiliate and advertise Text Link Ads (aff.) themselves.

I also tried this but don't worked.
I would like to talk with you, and I don't find a contact form.Email me please necromanc17@yahoo.com
They're response is very misleading also. I host my own blogger blog, but you need PHP (something I don't have) enabled hosting.
Also, to get your site on the list, it must be popular (PR3+), I tried getting my new site (rhyswynne.co.uk) onto the program, but it wouldn't allow it.
I like your blog by the way, I've linked from one of my newer blogs (trying to drive traffic to it) I Want A Free Xbox
Hi Rhys,
I never knew your site had to be PR3 as well, it doesn't make it obvious what the rules are do they.
I will add a link to your new blog on my Money Seekers list.
Thanks
Martin
Well, I said PR3+ - I don't actually know for sure. My friend had a PR2 blog that they wouldn't accept, but they accepted his PR3 blog. Both were on similar content.
Thanks for the link!
same thing happened to me
I recently found a very interesting website:
http://alreadylinked.com/
There you can purchase ad space for your Blog etc.
I attempted to sign up for ad links as well, when I was declined I asked why, and still havn't gotten a response (it's been about 5 days). Hopefully they will write a script for blogger SOON!

The primary reason that people buy text text link ads is for search engine followable links, either for a pagerank boost, or just to get indexed or stay out of the sandbox for a newly launched site.
If you run your blog on most mass market blogging services, you are not going to be able to use PHP, because it is a security risk.
Most free normal hosts also don't allow PHP, because of the security risk, and the additional resources it can consume, especially when used to access database tables in MySQL.
You should also understand that text link ads divert pagerank away from your site, especially if you have them on all pages.
They are not worthwhile for advertisers unless you are PR4+, and even then the value is minimal.
The amount of money a PR4 or lower site could potentially earn from text link ads is minimal, thus you are much better off conserving your pagerank, and monetising with affiliate links.
Obviously it is much better to start blogs on real hosting if you can afford it. You can run an aweful lot of sites on a $10 per month hosting account.
Thats great, will use on a few of my new Blogger blogs!
