Martin, have you tried Clicksor for advertising? It is similar to Google Adsence. I am trying it just now.
If you are interested, you should try it out. Adsence vs Clicksor would make an interesting post.

I just wanted to tell you that I am SO impressed with what you are doing with your blog. I think it's amazing that you have so many weekly visitors!! I am still limping along at about 25 - 30 a day. Of course I haven't done as much with my blog. You are really making the most of it!! How did you put in all the icons in the left bar? Are there instructions on Blogger about how to do it?

Putting the icons in the left hand sidebar was easy I just added them to the template as my blog already had the sidebar on the left. The hard part was creating the right sidebar, this took quite a bit of playing with using information I got from other blogs.
