The other day I decided to sell some text links on ebay (see sidebar and "Auctioned Links"), just to see what would happen. My thought behind it was that even if they don't sell it might bring in a bit of extra traffic, as I've included a link to this blog in the auction description. What I'm hoping will happen is that firstly people looking for text links on ebay will at least come and look at my site to see if it's suitable (extra traffic) and secondly that I will actually get some bids (make more money). I'm not sure if either of things will happen althoug I have has a couple of visitors from ebay in the last couple of days, maybe towards the end of the auction this will increase. I've also had 2 bids so far but only for £0.01, so I don't think I'm going to be getting a lot for them.
If you fancy a bit of cheap advertising for 90 days then make your bid on the following links, I don't think they will go for much more than a couple of pence.

Great Idea Martin! But you must focus on building your traffic first. If you have got lots of visitors then the bid will increase by itself. But still it's a great idea. Good luck with it.
great idea, ive been looking for ways to get people to buy my link space, adbrite hasnt given me anything even with almost 200 unique visitors a day, at like 8 cents a day
im definitely interested in how this goes! I may use this myself soon, to see how I do
